Linda, I mentioned a few weeks earlier, home gardeners often need to pollenate the female flowers with a small paintbrush that has pollen taken from several male flowers. Bees apparently don't do a great job with pumpkins.

I’d move that dusty miller maybe split it and put in more empty areas. Nice discussion about leaf structure and color contrast

Greetings, Linda. DUSTY MILLER SUGGESTION; that magnificent giant should be fully transplanted onto a bare location and left intact with no cutback. Personally, I love an abundant garden. I'm not a minimalist either inside my home nor in my front yard, back yard or porch and patio areas. Too much of a good thing is a good thing.

I don't see your garden as cluttered but interesting and meticulous due to the colors, forms, and different textures you have incorporated. I really like the minoen lacy flowers and the way they flow through the garden from a distance. Thanks for your tip about placing pots together made of the same material. Landscapers were here today to drop off soil/compost mixture & now I can start to finally plant my daylilies! Thanks, for your video & Happy Gardening1

I don't think your garden is cluttered. This was the most informative video on how to keep it uncluttered; one of the best you have done. I don't know what to do about the dusty miller ball. It is beautiful like it is.

I never thought that your garden looked anything but beautiful. I love how you are experimenting with the native species and colors. That takes planting a lot of different things. As time goes by you may decides less of this more of that. That’s gardening! 🥰🥰🌸

Since your east and west side don’t match, I’d leave the dusty miller alone! It’s perfectly round and a little bigger than the other dusty miller. I love it. Maybe tame it a little this fall.

Every thing looks wonderful! I am amazed at how big and beautiful that Dusty Miller looks! Talk about “romancing the ordinary “! I would trim it and move it to the left in that “void” you mentioned. Linda, you are such an inspiration, not only with all things gardening related but also in how you relate to others. Thanks for everything! 😎🇨🇦

I think everyone has gotten confused , Linda isn’t saying her garden is cluttered or she thinks this and is looking for reassurance. This was Linda addressing a particular topic on the matter and using her garden to show how not to make it look cluttered etc .. this is exactly what I got from this episode. Linda had made this very clear throughout her video and wasn’t suggesting she felt unsure in anyway about her design, in fact quite the opposite and was actually promoting her garden as something she doesn’t deem as cluttered and instead is a style preference. Just think maybe the title of this particular video has created some confusion.. and to Linda, a massive well done on your beautiful garden ❤ it’s very Linda ❤🎉 xxx 😘

My dear Linda, you certainly aren’t obligated to explain or justify your style or preferences to anyone. A little negative space (paths or benches maybe?) might allow your eyes to rest and focus on specimen plants and prevent Stuart from tripping 😂 but your garden is gorgeous and obviously a labor of love! Onward and upward!

Your garden is not cluttered, it looks in perfect harmony with your quaint cottage. I wonder if the people who say it looks cluttered tend to their own gardens with the love, patience and time that you do? Maybe a little less criticizing of others and a little more outdoor time spent in their own yards would do them a world of good. As always, thanks for your great tips! 🪴

What? Mess?? Never listen to this! These are haters! A mess is when, weeds, dry leaves, garbage, not well-groomed in one word. You turned this house into a fabulous one. It's a treat for the eyes and for the mood. Beautiful butterflies and birdsong, happy smiles on people's faces. Play of colors and aroma! I've been watching your channel for a long time, this is the first time I'm writing a comment. I also love your style. This is a garden, this is not a golf course with only grass! This is a garden, comrades, a garden!! And remember how in the Adams family she tore off the heads of roses and put only the stems in a vase, and so in life there are people who don’t like flowers. My neighbor is the same from one side

Your garden is beautiful, ignore the negativity, it's their problem and not yours, they don't even live there, which is what gives them the problem. As for the dusty miller, in my humble opinion, move it to that void area you suggested.

LINDA, YOUR "COTTAGE" & "GARDEN" IS SPECTACULAR!! THE ONLY THING "I" WOULD DO IS ADD A DARK BROWN OR BLACK MULCH THERE AT THE FRONT WHERE THE STAIRS & THROUGH OUT YOUR GARDEN & THAT WOULD MAKE ALL OF YOUR BUSHES, FLOWERS STAND OUT MORE & ADD A LOW "WHITE" BLOOMING GROUND COVER INFRONT OF TALL FLOWERS & WHERE YOUR WALKWAY IS HEADING TO YOUR HOME WOULD MAKE YOUR GARDEN "SING" WITH JOY, BUT THAT'S ME, & I LOVE YOUR IDEAS & SUGGESTIONS & AS ALWAYS, "YOU DO YOUR GARDEN & I WILL DO MINE & THAT'S WHAT MAKES THE WORLD GO AROUND, CAUSE IF WE ALL LIKE THE SAME FLOWERS, ETC., IT WOULD BE BORING!! 🌹🤭😎🌹🤭😎🌷
